For most of my life, my relationship with food felt confusing and exhausting. I spent years caught between restriction, guilt, and starting over, never feeling truly at peace with my body or my choices. At my highest weight, I was 295 pounds, and more importantly, deeply disconnected from myself. My transformation didn’t come from dieting or quick fixes, but from learning how to nourish my body, listen to its signals, and rebuild trust with food. Through education, self-compassion, and sustainable nutrition practices, I reached a healthy weight of 135 pounds and, for the first time, found balance. Today, as a holistic nutrition coach, I support others in creating a healthier, more peaceful relationship with food—one rooted in nourishment, not punishment.
